A lavish dinner at La Fiesta

Last February 15, 2016, we had a lavish dinner at the La Fiesta largest Filipino Buffet at the MOA in Pasay City.

The place looks extravagant but for me it has a sense of class and style making the interiors look great. The place is cool, cozy and relaxing. It is well lighted as well.

The foods were all mouth-watering to me. All the foods I like were almost all there. Actually, I wasn't able to taste it all because I really feel full. They offer a very wide variety of foods from Filipino to Japanese to Chinese, and all other cuisines around the world.

Aside from the wide range of foods, accommodating waiters and waitresses, good ambiance, they offer music to suit your dining. There is a stage where anyone can sing his/her heart out or sing with the performers as well.

If it is your birthday, a group of waiters/waitresses will come to your table and sing you a happy birthday song.

Indeed, this is a very good place for an eat all you can appetite. A truly fiesta atmosphere when you stepped inside the place. A very good reason to keep coming back to La Fiesta.

Chinese New Year Celebration at Ma Mon Luk

Every year we also celebrate Chinese New Year in our own little way. On February 8, 2016, we decided to eat at Ma Mon Luk in Quezon Avenue, Quezon City.

The place is very accessible. You can go there by riding a jeep or a bus or any means of transportation because it is along the way.

The place is known for the famous and delicious foods like Beef and Chicken Mami, Fried Chicken, Bola-Bola and Siopao Asado to name a few. It's my first time to eat there but according to the oldies, the food tasted the same since they were still new.

The Ma Mon Luk branch in Quezon Avenue is a little bit old so one cannot expect so much beauty on its interior and style. But it brings back memories of the past for those who missed eating at Ma Mon Luk while for some it's worth the money they spent.

And it was really worth the money. Our stomachs were full and our tummies were happy.

After eating at Ma Mon Luk we had our dessert at Razon's in Banaue, Quezon City.

At Cafe Mezzanine

My sister Janelle and her boyfie, Harold fetched me in the office because we are scheduled to eat in Binondo for the advance celebration of Chinese New Year. They also brought with them Jeraine, my cutie daughter.

The streets in Binondo were filled with many people walking each and every stores to buy the famous Tikoy, Hopia and all other foods available for the Chinese New Year. There were fruits around the streets or around bangketa. Lucky charms for the coming year were also available in all nearby shops in Binondo. The streets were all decorated with red lanterns hanged up in the air. Chinese foods were spread everywhere.

We walked along the street of  Ongpin trying to look for a fine restaurant that would satisfy our craving for chinese foods. At long last, we passed by Cafe Mezzanine.

I remembered seeing this in the net while looking for restaurants nearby Manila. We were about to sit when I thought there was a second floor. I asked one of the waiters and they led us to the stairs.  It was air-conditioned and the price is a little expensive at the second floor.

So we ordered immediately because our stomachs were really in revolution because of hunger.

We ordered Kiampong Rice for P60.00, Asado with Adobo Egg for P120.00, Gokong Soap  for P170.00, Camaron Rebusad for P200.00 and Ham and Cheese Sandwich for p120.00.

They offered variety of Chinese foods.  (click for the Menu) The food tasted good but not totally great. The price is affordable and the place clean and accessible.
