Celebrating Friendship at Cabalen

We love buffet! (dahil matatakaw kami)

There is really no particular time in celebrating friendship and life. And as the trend nowadays, FOOD is what keeps life and friendship more celebrating and lasting.

Me and my buddies, besties for life, Mavic and Madam are celebrating for no occasion at all. We just wanted to celebrate our friendship through lafang. (hahaha)

From the office, we traveled the perennial traffic along Espana to Quezon Avenue and to West Avenue and there fed our hungry stomachs at Cabalen - one of the famous Filipino delicacies.

An eat all you can for P298.00 is all worth it.

Cabalen offers a wide selection of yummy and delicious foods like Kare-Kare, Dinuguan, Adobo, etc.. and desserts like Banana Q, halo-Halo, Ice Cream, etc.

We were not able to take photos of the foods because we were so hungry that we already wanted to eat.

Lunch at Tyang Aby's Cafe

My children and I had our lunch today at Tyang Aby's Cafe. The cafe is located at the heart of university belt, near National university. The address is 1363A G. Tuazon Brgy. 407 Sampaloc, Manila.

The cafe is owned and managed by Aby MaraƱo, former team captain of DLSU and MVP of the UAAP Women's Volleyball.

We were excited to see the place and was hopeful that our favorite player was also there. Luckily Aby was there. We took the chance to have a photo with her. She was friendly and accommodating to her customers.

We ordered Tocino and Hotdog meals, Cheesy French Fries and the must taste Milo milkshake which Aby herself made.

The food tasted good and the place though small was friendly and cute. The prices were all very affordable.

@ AS Cafe

My buddy Mavic found a new tambayan at AS Cafe. It was a newly built cafe along G. Tuazon in Balic-Balic, Sampaloc, Manila.

The place was a bit small and and cannot accommodate many people inside.  The tendency was, it became too crowded.

They offered a wide variety of  shakes and frappe that were all delicious.

The prize is very affordable. One will really keep coming back.

Mavic and I ordered Choco Loco Frappe, Mango Miilk Shake and Cheese and Hotdog Waffle.
