Celebrating Friendship at Cabalen

We love buffet! (dahil matatakaw kami)

There is really no particular time in celebrating friendship and life. And as the trend nowadays, FOOD is what keeps life and friendship more celebrating and lasting.

Me and my buddies, besties for life, Mavic and Madam are celebrating for no occasion at all. We just wanted to celebrate our friendship through lafang. (hahaha)

From the office, we traveled the perennial traffic along Espana to Quezon Avenue and to West Avenue and there fed our hungry stomachs at Cabalen - one of the famous Filipino delicacies.

An eat all you can for P298.00 is all worth it.

Cabalen offers a wide selection of yummy and delicious foods like Kare-Kare, Dinuguan, Adobo, etc.. and desserts like Banana Q, halo-Halo, Ice Cream, etc.

We were not able to take photos of the foods because we were so hungry that we already wanted to eat.

Lunch at Tyang Aby's Cafe

My children and I had our lunch today at Tyang Aby's Cafe. The cafe is located at the heart of university belt, near National university. The address is 1363A G. Tuazon Brgy. 407 Sampaloc, Manila.

The cafe is owned and managed by Aby MaraƱo, former team captain of DLSU and MVP of the UAAP Women's Volleyball.

We were excited to see the place and was hopeful that our favorite player was also there. Luckily Aby was there. We took the chance to have a photo with her. She was friendly and accommodating to her customers.

We ordered Tocino and Hotdog meals, Cheesy French Fries and the must taste Milo milkshake which Aby herself made.

The food tasted good and the place though small was friendly and cute. The prices were all very affordable.

@ AS Cafe

My buddy Mavic found a new tambayan at AS Cafe. It was a newly built cafe along G. Tuazon in Balic-Balic, Sampaloc, Manila.

The place was a bit small and and cannot accommodate many people inside.  The tendency was, it became too crowded.

They offered a wide variety of  shakes and frappe that were all delicious.

The prize is very affordable. One will really keep coming back.

Mavic and I ordered Choco Loco Frappe, Mango Miilk Shake and Cheese and Hotdog Waffle.

Food Trip @ Food Treef

After we visited the grave of my mom in Loyola in Marikina, my children and I went on a food trip again for our dinner.

We ate at Food Treef in Calabash Road, Balic-Balic, Manila. The place is near the school and parish of Holy Trinity.

The place is good and cool, very trendy and hype and I think students and younger generations will definitely like it and of course those who are forever young at heart.

The food tasted good and were presented with creativity as well as the milkshakes and frappe. The price is very affordable.

Aside from the shakes and frappe they also serve other foods for other meals of the day like chicken, fries, etc. See their Menu.

Ready to fly @ Plane Bistro

As a gift to my children who consistently belong to the class top 10, I decided to treat them in a unique resto that they will surely like.

I brought them at Plane Bistro located at Kundiman St., Espana, Manila.

The restaurant's mood will bring you to another level. it feels like a meal in the sky. From the interiors, decorations and even the comfort room of the resto, you will feel like you are riding the plane. So are you ready for the take off?

The staff were very accommodating and their costumes added to the mood of the customers that they are really inside a plane.

The food tasted good. The price is affordable. The place is clean. It is also very accessible to students and office workers who will pass by through EspaƱa road.

Barney's Burger and Cafe in Banaue

Last night we had our midnight snack at Barneys Burger despite the heavy pouring of the rain. Daddy drove the whole family towards the road to this burger house.

We are always trying to find some new burger house near our place and Barney's Burger wowed us with its juicy and flavorful burgers that me and the rest of the family uttered: "Wow! Ang sarap!"

Barney's Burger offered a wide variety of burgers served with fries that will definitely spread some flavorful patties in your tongue. They also offer an array of Milk Tea, Original Tea, Fruit Tea and Lemonade Coolers that will satisfy your thirst. Aside from these, they also offer frappe and hot drinks.

Among the burgers we ordered were Barneys Cheese Burger, barneys BBQ Burger and the famous Barney's Fully Loaded. We also ordered Mango Cream Cheesecake ad Strawberries and Cream frappe.

The inside of Barney's Burger is also cool with the nice combination of paint colors appearing to be light and cozy.

To sum up, our money is worth the food we ate.

Barney's Burger and Cafe is located at 137 D. Tuazon, Quezon City, opens daily from 11 am to 11 pm.

Dinner @ Sumo San

In life you'll never know who will come to be your friend and who among your friend will go and leave.

Just this afternoon, I met ate Monette. She is a friend of my hubby. Ate Monette and her family came from Saudi Arabia.

I accompanied her to 168 and 999 Mall where she bought clothes to be sold in IloIlo, her province, and a few stuff for pasalubong for her "tauhan."

Over dinner at Sumo San in lucky China Town mall, Me and ate Monette enjoyed exchanging stories of our lives. I learned so much from her as she gave me wisdom about life and marriage.

I am looking forward to seeing her again and having time conversing with her.
