Sumptuous lunch at Manila Hotel

Every year I attend the press conference of the International Bamboo Organ Festival held at the famous Manila Hotel.



The press conference gives the media a brief history of the Bamboo Organ Festival and states its present activities and future plans. This is part of my job why I was in the press conference.

I had an interesting exchange of conversations with a student from Japan and with Miss Genevieve Huang.

And because the press conference was held at Manila Hotel, I know a sumptuous lunch awaits us. And I was never mistaken for that. They served not just sumptuous but mouth watering food that will truly satisfy my stomach's cry. This is one of the reasons why I love to attend this press conference. I get paid for the job I enjoy and I  get to eat the foods that I like.

Rekindling friendship at Aristocrat

It was a surprise call from my best friend Noemi last January January 7, 2016. She was here in the Philippines together with another good friend, Fe.

We haven't seen each other for such along time. We were all very excited to once again be together and share each other's stories. 

We had a lunch date last January 8, 2016 at the Aristocrat in SM, Manila, the place accessible to the three of us. 

Of course, we ordered the famous foods here in the Philippines and I bet they missed it too. We ordered Kare-Kare, Fish Fillet, Mangga and Bagoong, Talong in Onion and Tomato and Fried Tilapia.

Though we had a limited time because I need to be back in the office and both of then need to attend to a few errands, we truly enjoyed the time we spent together. Truly, we had a nice "catching up" with one another." 

I was glad to see them both...
